PEAK PERFORMANCE
“A winning race car is 15% engine, 35% weight, and 50% Aerodynamics” – Mr. Giampaolo Dallara. The choice of engine, developed in collaboration with Bosch, was dictated by the search for the perfect power to weight ratio for the car, the need to prioritize aerodynamics, and the desire to deliver torque values permitting brutal acceleration.

RACING-STYLE COCKPIT
The interior of the Dallara EXP is designed with the driver in mind, featuring a racing-style cockpit with the full safety of a Carbon Fiber Monocoque chassis around you. Safety is a top priority for Dallara and this chassis is built to FIA Appendix J level Homologation standards with front and rear roll over structure that withstands multiple times weight of the vehicle in a rollover pressure test. The main driver controls are located directly on the central console allowing the driver to further adjust and refine the driving experience.

FORM & FUNCTION PERFECTED
Born from its road going sibling, the Dallara Stradale, and a deep racing heritage, the Dallara EXP takes design and function to much higher level with full focus on track performance. The chassis is fitted with an advanced system of shock absorbers, including new valves, a new interchangeable and stiffer spring set, and adjustable and stiffer anti-roll bars. The dynamics were developed entirely with the aim of maximizing performance while safe guarding stability on account of the high torsional rigidity (rigid suspension joints) guaranteed by the use of a doorless monocoque, with the characteristic layout used in formula racing where the monocoque constitutes the survival cell.

AERODYNAMICS
An area of the underfloor links the front diffuser to the rear one. The rear diffuser has five channels and occupies almost half of the car’s surface and is designed to work in perfect combination with the
adjustable double rear wing and the two large ducts behind the rear wheel arches. There are also other aero features such as the front diffuser, lowered by 8mm and surface extensions including woods for damage protection. Four strakes on the front-mid underfloor, two blades and strakes extensions on the rear diffuser increase the downforce even further.
A great deal of attention has also been paid to the flows in the vehicle’s interior (engine cooling and power). The doorless layout has enabled the implementation of an innovative solution offering maximum air-cooling efficiency (intercooler). The engine intake (air filter) was designed with the characteristic layout of racing cars.
